DEMENTIA EVALUATION

Dementia, now called Major Neurocognitive Disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders (DSM-5-TR), affects millions of Americans. We will evaluate for various forms of dementia, including Alzheimer's, vascular dementia, fronto-temporal dementia, and mild cognitive impairment among others.

You can expect the evaluation to last no more than 3 hours. Results will be reviewed with you either on the day of your appointment or during a separate meeting. Family participation for all portions of the evaluation and the feedback are encouraged.
